Privacy Policy

Last updated: [Date]

This policy explains what Maestro, provided by [Company name], collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: browsing needs no account, your music never leaves your device, and what we keep is what makes your practice resume where you left it.

What we collect

If you browse without signing in, we store nothing about you on our servers. The app keeps its own settings, your imported songs and your playback positions on your device only.

If you sign in, we store:

Music you add is played from your device or from your own streaming library. Audio files are never uploaded to us. If you connect a streaming library, that service's privacy policy applies to what it does with your listening.

Technical data. When the app talks to our servers we see the usual request details, such as your IP address and app version, and we keep error reports so we can fix crashes. We do not use advertising trackers.

Why we use it

We use this data to run the app, keep your progress in sync, send you a sign-in code when you ask for one, and diagnose problems. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of providers to run the service: hosting and databases for your account and progress, a delivery network for videos, and an email provider for sign-in codes. They process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide the service. We will also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your account data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account from within the app removes your progress, favourites, presets and playlists from our servers; backups clear on their normal cycle afterwards. Error reports are kept for a limited period and then discarded.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. You can delete your account in the app; for anything else, write to [Contact email] and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Children

Maestro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. When a change matters we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
